If you can see the jammed paper at the front tray, stand the machine with the front tray open. Turn the machine off, then unplug the power cord.Ĭlose the document cover, then stand the machine up with the right side facing down. If you can't see the paper at the paper output slot or at the front tray, you will need to remove the paper from the transport unit. To prevent jams, we recommend paper other than A5 size to print documents. If you turned off the machine in step 1, all print jobs in the queue will cancel. Reload the paper, and tap the Stop / Reset button on the machine. The paper may eject automatically.īe careful not to force the paper out or it may damage the machine.

Slowly pull out the paper with both hands so the paper doesn't tear. If you can't pull the paper out, turn the machine off and back on.
